Tony Hawk's pro skater allows you to use a jpg to put on a skater's face. If they don't allow the data to be read raw, couldn't the AES key be reverse engineered by using the jpg as a control file to figure out the AES key? That's if data needed to be imported using the AES API. First we have to re...

it could be part of the wipeout umd itself, but seeing how it matches the regular psp api, it would be probable to say that its part of the psp firmware. Such things can than be shared, like the save data screen, through many games. as for the data transfer, it is most likely http. i dont think the ...

this sounds like the enigma code... So the key is embedded somewhere in the data? But that would just be sloppy of Sony, they probably have a master code somewhere in the psp os that adds the code already in the data. so lets not all go and brute force it okay? (Less productive) if we can sift the m...

finding the correct laser of the psp's disk reader, couldnt you mod a disk so that it would run on a reader with the same laser? The umd could be burned using the gamecube minidisk style however, with the out-in, or some other loony form. then theres the encoding and protection.... Im thinking that ...

music and folder icons

hi, just wanted to say that m3u files, or the standard playlist files for mp3s are automatically loaded when in the music tab of the psp

the folder icon for folders that contain a m3u file have a red m3u icon instead of the blue mp3.

imma go experiment some.
