Well shortly he suggest that in order to play games which require an update, you need a dump of the game, create an EBOOT.PBP on the MS with an upgrade version set to 1.00 instead of 1.50 in order to trick the PSP. But, then he suggests to find a way to get rid of the launch from the UMD, and in fac...

Hi What will happen if instead of doing this swap trick, we build an EBOOT.PBP file with inside another EBOOT.PBP file which is in fact the DATA.PSP just renamed (like in the psp-dev trick)?? Actually I can't test it, because I can't find a way to insert a PBP file inside another one... but still di...

If there is a function to encrypt we can suppose that there is also one to decrypt. So it is useless to encrypt a savegame if we can decrypt the 1.5 firmware.
Just a guess.

Official Dev Kit and Unencrypted code

Hi Just a statement, the official dev kit are supposed to run unencrypted code as far as I can understand. But Sony has also to provide firmware update for game developpers in order to keep their future release compatible. So if they provide the same firmware (considering that it is encrypted) as th...
