writing to flash0:// is more than just opening it up and trying to write to it. It involves doing a handstand on a single hand, sipping coffee from the other, and balancing three elephents on each leg. But, if you are willing, check out PSPersonalize, I *believe* that writes to flash0:// and will pr...

This is a development forum, please ask this question in a more general PSP forum.

And for the record, I dont know... IIRC, the Europe PSP's also have a 1.51 or 1.52 firmware, which is already not-able-to-play-homebrew.

I know this sounds very stupid, but, can i actually test my driver and my program on a non-modified PSP ? As for right now, all homebrew works on v1.0 and 1.5 PSP's without any "modification" to the actual unit itself. You have to store some files on a memory stick, but that's all. Is it ...

Ummm, if you update your PSP to anything past 1.5, then you are not going to be able to run homebrew. So whatever it changes to programming past 1.5 are useless to the community right now.

do a 'make kxploit' not just 'make'.

That will make the directories for you. Read up on the kxploit and you will find out what it does and why it works and why they are different sizes.

There is no java on PSP, the only java that you will be able to utilize is on the wipeout or 2.0 browser via javascript.

Unless you wish to create a virtual machine for the PSP, which is not very feasible.
