What distro are you using to where it changes capital lettering to be non-capital? Linux handles files properly. If you type 'mkdir /foo' and then 'mkdir /foO' and then 'mkdir /Foo' and 'mkdir /fOO'.... they are all different. Unlike with windows which treats capitalized and non-capitalized folders ...

Which he left out? You have quite the attitude for someone incapable of following the directions given in the PSPSDK README. I openly admit to being a jackass and a smartass. It's what I do best. Perhaps from working tech support all day I've turned into a very bitter person. I'm joking man. I know...

I completely disagree, I think somewhere along the lines we will find a good technique to edit the upgrades and even if sony keeps releasing the upgrades to block exploits, someone will find a way to impliment modified firmware flashes so that they contain all the features of the newer updates but ...

A load more than you realize if you've never done dev with IR before. I'm not saying you haven't mind you. Speaking from personal experience with doing development work on IR and wireless communication a scope allows us to see what the machine is outputting and not just printf statements which are w...

ok then how do you plan to run the homebrew version of the firmware without being able to run homebrew? also, it's all good, I get quite angry from time to time as well ;-) That I don't know. However if it's anything like replacing the firmware on the xbox or the firmware on a DVD player all that n...

and the other means would be what? We already know that we cannot run the 1.50 upgrade unedited to downgrade a 1.51 psp, which means we would have to create a homebrew app to downgrade the psp with the 1.50 files I think I finally understand what you are saying. I think you are confusing homebrew f...

Re: HELP!! I cut my headphones in 2! Hard 2 fix, wired weird
I have a problem. I was listening to music with my psp headphones in art and someone at our table accidently cut my headphones. Now it's in two. When wire's come apart, I always solder (engineer term for put back together with more conductive material) it back together. But this is weird. I was tes...

If we could run homebrew on a 1.51 to downgrade, then we wouldn't need to downgrade to run homebrew, thats what I am saying, you proved my point more, the easiest way to run homebrew isnt to make homebrew that downgrades because by being able to run homebrew that downgrades the psp we have already ...

you guys are veering way off track here, I disagree. we are trying to figure out how we can load homebrew on 1.51, True but making it work by way of a downgrade might be the answer. downgrading the psp via homebrew is obviously not an option Eh.... not true. Coders make mistakes. I bet that it is s...

If you are willing to send me the source code then I'll post it on my personal website. I think a lot of us are very interested in looking at it.
