The $99 fee you refer to is have the right to upload programs to your Xbox. (a "megatons of premium developper content" according to MS) I have been a Creator Club subscriber for a year now. The "megatons of premium developer content" amounts to some sample codes (w/ MSPL licens...

That's the descriptor for the hub, not the connected device. (The hub has the same ID as the one in 0c12:8809, "Zeroplus Red Octane Ignition Xbox DDR Pad"). Yeah, maybe because I couldn't install any drivers for it on Windows, the real gun device shows up as unknown and my USB view didn't...

GunCon3 access?

Hello there, I managed to get my hands on the new GunCon 3. I have never done any USB/driver programming before, but would like to give it a shot on a Linux or Windows driver. I don't have a Linux installation handy yet, so I tried USB view on WinXP: External Hub: USB#Vid_0c12&Pid_8801#5...

If you are worried about cost, there are so many free ways to get Naplink onto your memory card. A simple google for ps2 memory exploit would have turned up some links.

When I unzip the nPort ,I got save directory and there is a npo-x.exe in it .Is it the PC side? I think there must be a client and a server so it can transfer files. npo-x.exe is a program use to extract/insert files from/to the .npo files. You can use Save Buidler instead. The client program is ac...

He is probably talking about x Port, which is SharkPort from InterAct which comes with an USB cable Quick instructions on nPort/PS2Link - download nPort (not xPort/Sharkport..etc) - unzip nPort, should get nPort.elf and a saves directory - download PS2Link - read the README to see how to enter your ...

Found something interesting here. Maybe that will lead you somewhere useful. Either that, or reverse engineer it. :)

Ooo, and the PSX DualShock USB adapter might be a good place to start too.[/url]

Yes, you could get the file you want onto memory card first, and then copy it over to the HDD...

Oh wait, we are going in circles... Just follow Gorim's advice, use PS2Link + nPort + save builder to create the exploit on mc. Google for the jeexlabs tutorial (seems to have moved to maxconsole)

Alright, finally got it to work. I think I had a few problems: 1) cvs was converting LF/CF between *nix and DOS, so that was causing weird errors (stray '/'s) 2) the toolchain I grabed from Lukasz's site was conflicting with my installation of Cygwin. 3) Most developers are probably developing on *n...

Newbie PS2SDK build question

Pardon for the newbie build question. I grabbed the PS2SDK v1.0 Alpha yesterday. Couldn't use the scr_printf() function, and the suggested fix in forum was to include debug.h (which is only available in the current CVS tree). So I just downloaded Cygwin (installed GCC 3.3.1-3) on my WinXP machine, s...
