saotome mavy will be glad to see someone using Ps2Perf :P about your issue, lion should redesign the driver a little. Now you get frames like a snapshot so you must wait too much to get it from iop, and when you are making other things on ee side the driver is stopped and only checking for commands,...

the sony eyetoy driver captures directly ipu frames, send them with sifcmd to ee and then you must only use the IPU to get rbga format to send to gs. So it's not needed extra libjpg stuff. The main difference with your driver is: - sifcmd stuff instead of rpc to get frames - IPU at ee side instead o...

PS2Reality and QCast both demonstrate that just converting ffmpeg and mad doesn't hack it. PS2Reality don't use mad sorry, only ffmpeg. This is a difficult to believe if I can recall that long ago. Your colleague Hermes wrote an mp3 player for paradox that used madlib. His illegal port wasn't only ...

about eyetoy and IPU , yes eyetoy capture directly IPU frames so it's not needed extra libs to show them always it's better ps2 working for you instead of you working for your ps2, the driver only send ipu frames to ee using sifcmd stuff and then ee directly send to the IPU with its dma channel and ...

PS2Reality and QCast both demonstrate that just converting ffmpeg and mad doesn't hack it. PS2Reality don't use mad sorry, only ffmpeg. The EE should have nothing to do with inputting data at all. The IOP should read the data, split the data into elementary streams, then DMA the video data to the E...

Your rant basically challenged gorim to make a media player in a week. Each step was more sarcastic and caustic than the one before it. It ended with a haughty tone that left the whole tirade as nothing more than a fancy way to say, 'STFU, bizatch.' well before 1.0 and before sjeep sent me the prer...

You, bigboss... you're trouble. Stop trying to rock the boat and either get on topic or get lost. 2 years ago(perhaps more) when there was not a tool available to upload code to your ps2, you only could test your own code burning a cd and tryng to load it with ar2, demo swap or similar tool. My fir...

Re: PC/Playstation 2
The license agreement is at http://www.macromedia.com/support/shockwave/info/licensing/ but I'm not sure if you have to pay Macromedia for the license. This license is only for distributing binary flash player in cd presentations or plugins downloading, the right license is here: http://www.macrome...

Sorry but... where do you think to get a flash player for Playstation 2? There is only one available in Network Access Disk Pal, and it has only a basic support (flash 3, and some flash 4 features) Or do you want only connect ps2 side with a flash client at pc side? You can connect both with xmlsock...

Be careful, though... SPAIN IS DIFFERENT. Or so I heard. Yes, indeed ;) After all... if I'm getting a pre-modded ps2 out of it, making a VCD player is paid work, and paid work comes first :) Sorry but you don't need a modded ps2 to support VCD, you could always add support to read vcd files from ne...
