Sorry, I guess I left out the step of copying it from the hard drive to the memory card.

I think you can copy the files involved using the browser, right?, so if you were able to get it onto the hard drive, then you could get it onto a memory card.

getting started with a hard drive (unmodded)

I've recently aquired a us ps2 (unmodded as far as i know) with an official hard drive (and ff XI). Is there anyway to connect the ps2 hard drive to a PC, put the independence exploit on it and, then put it back in the ps2? I guess the alternative would be to get a memory card I can write from a PC ...
