what u actually found someone who knows how to use XviD properly, have you people ever tried capping quantizers, motion search precisions 6, vhq 4, chroma motion and trellis quantizer, or do u simply queue up that AVI in one of the multiple frontend encoders that spawned since PMP 1.0 and click a fe...

vbv stuffs? what's that :x it is used in 2pass modes, i experienced terrible skipping in videos in high motion scenes on my standalone player until i used the DXN HT PAL profile on XviD to set the correct buffering for my Mpeg4 player. if u just follow the few simple restrictions for PMP im sure u ...

I don't mean to be the bearer of bad news, but i have a clip that crashes every time in mallocs version same frame everytime. yet it plays fine on Jonny's, i would upload the video but it has a X rating, it is pornographic. Let me know if u want the clip its 2mb, and recreates a glitch in Mallocs mo...

So what is the best method to avoid frameskipping ? I read disabling B-frames and normalizing the audio, but someone is always contradicting another. I've encoded The Matrix (2h10) to 950MB, avg. bitrate of about 800kbit/s, almost no frameskip. I also did Resident Evil (1h30) to 950MB, avg. bitrate...

thanx heaps jonny, this muxer doesnt like LameACM MP3s encoded in VirtualDubMod, so i use a RazorLame frontend using Lame3.96.1 to encode my audio, otherwise it was "sync lost". And of course nothing beats Avisyth+VD for encoding ;) I'm using XviD 1.1.0b2 are you guys using XviD 1.03? WHOO...

i was wondering, was this trailer in the demo version ever released in a UMD? I dont mean to flame, it just that when something looks too good to be true it usually is. Could this just be the PMF player striped down with a UMD-ripped preview? hopefully someone can confrm that it is not what i think...
