But i have to ask, which resolution exactly is it that makes the resolution calculator crash (as in the exact x and y value). I have played around with it and at the moment i physically cant make it crash with any "4/3" files. Obviously i have missed something though :p Crashed: 512x384 5...

oops, typed too fast, i made a mistake.
of course, when target quantizer = 1, each frame is encoded with the same quality, without watching the bitrate. that's why you can select target quantizer OR bitrate. =)

artik where can i find the profile you're tslking about? In virtual dub, when you choose "video => compression => xvid => configure => profile" =) here you can select "home theater pal" You found ? ***** updated***** lastest xvix codec (1.1.0) MUST be installed

3GP gimme too big file compare virtual dub. and finally, the best is virtual dub using HOME THEATER pal (profile) and quantizer 1.

jonny, there is no way to implement an aspect ratio fonction ? so many movies are in widescreen, and not 16:9 for example. an autokeep aspect ratio in pmp should be amazing. But maybe too much performance issues, or dunno ... could you tell me more ?
