Now that Homebrew is possible on 2.01, 2.5 and 2.6, would it be possible that PMPMod will run on these at some time ? I don't ask when, just if it would be possible :)

PMP Mod v1.1 Released for PSP Jonny has now released a new version of his famous PMP MOD application for the PSP. This does indeed support FULL resolution AVI files on your PSP. I wasn't able to crash it in the last 10 days, it should be stable and reasonably fast. Everything is quite optimized, pl...

i have a question if someone can answer (i am noob with resolutions) , so if i have a FULLSCREEN xvid , is 480x272 the good resolution for pmp ? No, 480x272 is the original PSP resolution, with an aspect ratio of 16:9 (the screen is 16/16th long and 9/16th high). The correct resolution would be 360...

"Le fichier spécifié est introuvable"

That's the same as my error. Maybe it's because of international setups ?

I converted the new Family Guy and American Dad episodes from avi to pmp format, both are very good quality and skipfree with PMP Simple 0.02 using the 128kbit/512kbit encoding and High Quality enabled. Though one problem: the American Dad episode seemed to reset everytime I paused with [] and resum...

Oh, I forgot to mention: I can host the files on a fast webspace if needed. Normally it isn't bandwidth limited. So if the programmers here like Jonny, miemt11 and others need a place for the encoders/players, just mail me at phunction@gmail.com

So what is the best method to avoid frameskipping ? I read disabling B-frames and normalizing the audio, but someone is always contradicting another. I've encoded The Matrix (2h10) to 950MB, avg. bitrate of about 800kbit/s, almost no frameskip. I also did Resident Evil (1h30) to 950MB, avg. bitrate ...
