Ahh... You could have had a free replacement courtesy of sony.

Does the AC charge the battery?

I mean, the jack doesn't work at all or does the psp not know it's being charged?

Unless you have a warranty on your 2.5, you could swap the boards to downgrade it and then put it back?

I hope it's something simple and you get it working the way it should.

However with a long enough cord you could carry a standard harddrive on your belt or something as long as you provide some sort of shock protection and cooling. lol, that'd be ghetto. I think lik-sang tested different micro-drives with the datel thing. It still wouldn't take over 4GB though, becaus...

I don't think this is too helpful, considering you said you want to use a modded 3.11, but I'll post it anyway, you might be semi-interested :P

There are two parts of flash - flash0 and flash1.

Flash0 contains the firmware and Flash1 contains system settings/date and time etc. At least, that's the way I understand it.

Looks like you upset flash1 and that's why it needed the date etc reset.

Sorry to go necro on you, thought this might be useful though.

If you're in the UK and need a replacement screen - these people have them and they're cheap. I can't recommend it because I haven't bought one, so don't blame me if they're useless :)
