This would be easy enough to do on a seperate audio track with a proper audio program (Goldwave, etc) but I have no idea on how you would do this in one of the mencoder all-in-one programs. Maybe try looking up the mencoder manual and trying to find some settings... -audio-delay <0.0-...> Sets the ...

@uNn99 Hey, great work on that proggie of yours :) Looks nice :) Currently I'm at work, so I haven't tested fully your application yet, but is there any possibilitie to pass some extra command lines (if I'm using mencoder), like some extra video filters, sharpness, placement of subtitles, outline si...

For me it happened just when you launch PMP Mod... First I see that completely blue screen, then it hangs there for some secs and dies on me.

There were some files (PMPs and POSs) in the list, they played fine before.

Got same problems as k0nan... Had it twice, PSP showed BSOD, waited like 5 secs and died. Both times were after gaming (maybe memory issues?).

Keep on dancin' >:)-\-<

@wooolF: 1) Reply directly to me, if you have something to say. I don't like those type of generic crying. 2) You can impress noobs with your guide, but not me. There is nothing in your guide that guarantee 1-quality 2-no stuttering 3-size control over the final encode. What you claim the best is n...

Same here, no audio skipping :) The ghosting effect is pretty bad tho', specially noticable after the 1st truck drives from right to left and when the mail character swings his sword (at the near end of the video). Otherwise pretty good :)

@jvpsp 1) For PSP it should be divisible by 8. 2) Only result (output). 3) Depends on the codec you're using and the way you use it. For both XViD and DiVX you can tell the codec what format your pixels are in the source (NTSC 16:9 / PAL 4:3 / PC square etc) to help/force it a bit. Also PSP's scree...

@604000
It's because it was encoded from HDTV... The result you have described happends to me only when I work with HDTV material and I guess my box just can't handle it (even after it's a 3.5ghz P4). Matrix scenes (which had much more action and come from my retail DVDs) always been smooth.

@ wooolF Your quality is really good. I'll try your method when you'd post it. Only one question, the encoding method is the same for these samples of Island Fever than in the Matrix scenes? I thought that with XviD the quality was better, but I’m thinking on trying with DivX instead of XviD. I've ...

Hi wooolf - Welcome back. I'd like to see some results with your settings preferably at 25fps and using a decent trailer that tests the codec. File sizes are great in your encodes.........until you realise the source doesn't actually test any bitrate barriers. There is so much slow panning and half...
