PSP port from 0.73
Out of curiosity , I have done a superficial port of PSP dosbox from ver 0.73. Superficial because I have done nothing to change the unique routines (written by CrazyC) that gives the psp dosbox life. Those codes are beyond me now, so do not expect any performance improvement though. It is buggy, I ...

If you want the original EBOOT, get it from the first post of this thread. For those of us which are less educated (and I'm a Mac User) would it be possible tanweeho for you to post the latest EBOOT? Or a link to it? I would love to see if there is a speed increase on some of my favorite games. This...

Here goes...
The steps below is for Windows. It should not be difficult for those who knows how to setup msys for other operating systems. 1a. Goto http://sourceforge.net/projects/mingw/files/ 1b. Download the msys executable for Windows. (I had msys-1.0.11.exe) 1c. Download the msysDTK executable. (I had msysDT...

Success!!
You are great, CrazyC! I finally got it working! But like most others, I also got the 8002013 error. But mrgrayson's suggestion to comment out some codes in the sdlmain.cpp helps. With minpspw, it's now much easier to write a step-by-step guide (which I am going to do) to help those who also want to...

Help needed to compile dosbox
Hi people, I am thinking of compiling my own Dosbox to get my hands dirty. I have msys/mingw and downloaded the pspsdk0.95 from project minpspw (instead of using psptoolchain). So far, I have passed the "make" portion but when I issue this psp-gcc -L/pspdev/psp/sdk/lib -o dosbox dosbox.o f...

inputmap exec orion.exe?
Has anyone managed to successfully execute "orion.exe" (Master of Orion) using "inputmap exec" command? I have a simple bat file that contains a single liner "inputmap exec orion.exe" but it gives me a "You must run ORION.EXE" message. (I thought of mapping so...

What's great abt PMF?
Hi guys, a simple qn: what's so great abt PMF? Before Jonny released his 1st PMP player, we explored PMF in the hope that we can encode and play movies in PSP's full resolution. Now that we have the PMP player (great thanx to Jonny), do we still need the PMF? Furthermore, it seems to me that it is a...

Oh yes, frameserving via Avisyth is super solid! I encourage all to try and learn to use avisynth.... its really simple (esp for programmers who are comfortable with writing scripts). However, using DGDecode for DVD encoding is a bit painful for beginners as the DGDecode does not fix the aspect rati...

My fav encoding tools
For me, my fav tools are:
- Avisynth
- VirtualDubMod
- Subrip (for subtitles)
- BeSweet / LampMp3
For DVDs, i will need additional tools:
- DVDShrink
- DGMPGDec
Only these tools can give me the better flexibility and controls over the encodings.

"Lost Sync" error
Hi jonny (or others), what exactly causes the "Lost Sync" error thrown out by the PMP Muxer? I have encoded several audio files, in various formats, to MP3s using BeSweet-LameMp3... I would get these errors occasionally. I workaround these problems by re-encoding these problematic MP3 file...
