It matters to me, I am working on a commercial game, and I think it would be cool if my publisher let me make a PSP version of it (I like the PSP). But before I even try to convince them, I need to know if it is at least theoreticaly possible, I have a working port thats run at an MS, but an MS is a...

UMD Speed?

Hi, I wonder if anyone know anything about the speed of the UMD drive in the PSP, what is the actual reading speed and how much penalty is it for a seek?

I know that I could probably figure it out by experimenting but there probably is some people out there that have done that already.

The idea of using an PC joypad to control the PSP, sounds like a great idea when you develop a game/application, you can leave it in the cradle and not have to take it up every time you test your game/application. I am using Windows not Linux, I would have to modify it but a linux version is a good ...

sceGuTexSlope and sceGuTexLevelMode

Hi, Has anyone managed to figure out how to use the sceGuTexLevelMode to get a better control of how the GU mipmaps textures? What are the first argument for (the int)? The second is a Bias right? I'm having the exact same problem, I can't get rid of it. I don't buy the theory that it's a hardware bug, as it seems to work in some games but not for others.

As some time has passed, since this was first written, has anyone found any solution or if it is a bug how should I work around it?
