Tracing PSP Code?

Hi,

i just started coding with PSPDEV. From other languages i found tracing the code very usefull (checking values of variables etc.). Is that somehow possible in PSP development?

no problem. first time i found out something myself...

but can someone fiddle out how to reduce cpu utilization? i have a t2300 core duo processor with 1.66 ghz and its at its limit at AVC mode. is there a way to reduce cpu utilization?

ok i read the vlc documentation and found the options croptop cropbottom cropleft cropright... so i finaly watch 4:3 with croped top and bottom. 16:9 stuff now perfectly fits to psp screen. here is my commandline: :sout=#transcode{croptop=90,cropbottom=80,cropleft=10,cropright=15,vcodec=h264,vb=600,...

another question:

works now for me too. but can u explain now why the old version worked for you psp?

EDIT: The AVC Quality is awesome! Great work!!! But 2 Questions:

- is it possible to amplify volume (nomalise?)
- can i crop 4:3 videos to 16:9 (no stretch)

Te problem are te folders create 2 video folders on the pc put some videos in. create 2 audio folders on the pc put some mp3s in. and then add this folders in the .ini now it wil work ps.avc w qual is very good but sometimes it crashes... 0.0.8 with 1 folder is more stable so i need the PC to watch...

i have 2 psps here. jap and us version. one with 1 gb ms sandisk, other with 2 ms sony-fake(?). one with normal firmware, other with custom firmware. always same crashes.

at music i get same adresses like the guy before this post. exept:

also got same problem as other people here. when selecting VIDEO with Network disabled, VLC freezes when selecting MUSIC VLC crashes yes i have the exactly same problem.. changed "g:" in "g:\;" and "g:" have MUSIC(5 mp3's ) folder and VIDEO(1 .wmv and the VLC-ENABLE.AV...

PMP VLC 0.0.8 works. i will check if the old pmp.ini will work with the new version... perhaps there is a problem with the layout...

EDIT: ok, doesn't work. it seems that it hasnt to do with the INI.

doesn't work. perhaps my PSP/VIDEO and PSP/MUSIC folders are filled with non-conform filenames/filenamelengths? i cant figure out the problem.

how can i convert an xvid movie .avi file into a .264 file? when i try to convert with x264.exe it says unsupported input format (xvid)
