can you direct me to a tutorial for reading homebrew on dvd/cd after starting with memory card; NO MOD CHIP?

Is there a way for ps2 to read homebrew directly from a cdr or dvd, instead of memory cards... To me it seems logical, but im no specialist. For a long time ive been depriving myself from sleep... Please tuck me into bed (NO KISS NECESSARY)
