kasper is correct, and law aside, the contract (the license agreement) between you (the customer) and Apple (the software provider) says you may only use it on Mac hardware. The color issues look like a 256 color paletted display running in a non-paletted video mode, or vice versa -- something of the sort.

Gettingi the video ironed out would be nice first I guess, there's a couple of pixels on the left that are extra too... and if it can be any quicker? Ethernet would be a big plus, but I imagine that will be difficult to do because that would involve writing something around Basilisk to get the WIFI ...

I guess he meant 1MB rom, which is supported by Basilisk anyway. Any luck on finding the cause of the problem CK? I wish I could help more, but I've not got a PSP dev environment set up and I've done no direct PSP dev.

Perhaps it is waiting for some hardware to be initialized that is not yet emulated? Input? Also, it may help to hold shift (disable extensions) during boot, but of course this is currently impossible. Is it in the same loop on the other rom that doesn't show "Welcome to Macintosh"? Its pro...

I got further w/ that new build... Its nothing more than a bunch of graphics with a mouse cursor. Its not an OS nor as far as i know an API for applications, so really its just a toy.

CGA text is cool and all, just, i dunno... how about some graphics and decent looking fonts? ;-)

PS. Just use the built in keyboard, it will make all applications function the same way, the way its intended to.
