I have no real insight in Team Xecutor, but I highly doubt they have access to a legit SDK. Even if they do, in some weird way, I don't think they will use it for any legal project. Would have been nice if someone from Team Xectuor could replay here, or join #pspdev / #ps2dev on freenode. Gorim gave...

The pic on psp-hacks.com is from ooPo's original phototake. As ooPo had to shut his site down due to heavy traffic, I don't think he mind. However, I don't like psp-hacks.com/psp-hacks.net and every other fan site posting missleading news. About that elf2pbp and pbpunpacker, thouse two apps has noth...

People will know if this is true or false as time goes by. Try it out and see if it works, put some time into it. A lock of the other thread discussing this wasen't a hint for not discussing this further? Nelia, I really like your posts. Hopefully, people will learn by your misstakes and stop typing...

I tried VerifySetup.elf (got nothing better :/) and got black display. yay... You'll get blackscreen, while dimming / brightness is working. This is most likely becouse VerifySetup.elf is a debug build (printf() is one function used for dbg). This thread is getting no where, it's no use to keep ask...

I'm sorry, but as we don't know for sure yet, this is the only thing you'll get. Alot of things can be the cause of this. All I'm saying is that malloc isen't totally wrong, but it could very well be that he noticed the difference between 1.0 and 1.5 and just assumed that it runs code. (Sorry malloc...

First, don't talk about the SDK here, it's not legit. Second, when did we not have a cross compiler for mips r4k? The problem here has nothing to do with the API. The PSP will not run code that isen't encrypted and digital signed. This has been posted before, so I think you should search the forum f...

Quick idea... Since the data file is a zip file that is (if i read this correctly) unzipped onto the memory stick... has anyone tried any proxy/dns redirection of any kind to get a different zip file downloaded? If so, I recall there being various overflow exploits involving low memory unzip librar...

I too believe this is the case, no other way sounds logical. But who knows, we can be totally wrong.kry.sys wrote: _httpapi(wpanilogo.sfo,http://wipeoutpure.com/ingame/,'psp-my cool game id')
in this case httpapi could be part of the firmware os or the software game.

I see no reason why Wipeout should know these filetypes, but as the transfer is probebly done through an API function, it could however be the case. Can you try with more random files ooPo, or did you already try that? I just borrowed Wipeout earlier to day, so I can't test it. I will however get it...

Everything that is inside the law should be OK I guess. As for warez, we all know how far from that we are (and hopefully will be untill the end :-)). I think it should be discussed when we get to the point where we see a possibility for piracy, thought by thought. A general rule against what should...

It's not the first thread that I'v seen people complaining about the moderators. You know what, Internet Forums ain't a place for democrazy.
