PSP video format question..

Ok, as you guys know, PSP 1.0 & 1.5 owners can watch MPG4 video on their PSPs and owners of PSPs with the 2.0 fw can also watch MPG4 AVC.
The paths should be:
for 'standard' MPG4 : 100MNV01\M4Vxxxxx.MP4
and for MPG4 AVC : 101ANV01\MAQxxxxx.MP4
So far so good, but i came across a video that doesn't seem to be standard mpg4 (its quality is like UMD quality) and isn't AVC either.
I'm trying to determine the specs of this video.
Interestingly, this video goes to 310MNV01\ and doesn't work from 101ANV01 so i'm sure it's not AVC (it couldn't have been anyway since i'm on fw1.0)
The vid came with the bomberman game, it's a jpop clip, about 50 megs for 4 minutes. The PSP cannot seem resize it, it always appears fullscreen.
Is it just a standard MPG4 that's been encoded with 5 pass or something (so the quality is good!) or is it some kind of mpeg4 variation?
It doesn't work in directshow, nor does gspot can report what bitrate & size it's been encoded with.
And also the fact that it loads from 310MNV01 instead of 100MNV01 make me wonder what the heck is this file..
If anyone has got further info on this, it's very appreciated. If i can encode my stuffs with this quality, i really don't care if I miss AVC anymore! (cause of course i won't be updating my 1.0 ^^)
