PSP RFID

Post by Charles »

I have been reading quite a bit lately about RFID and am looking into the possibility of using the PSP as a portable RFID skimmer/jammer/reader.
Id like to develop a DIY kit to construct the necessary hardware, interface to the PSP serial port, and write software to accomodate such a device.

Is anyone else working on this already? Is anyone else interested in this concept?

For a reader there are inexpensive products with a serial interface:

(there are lots of other readers at http://www.morerfid.com/list.php?subdet ... splay=RFID ). But if you don't need this production quality with the ability to read 10 RFIDs per second, building it yourself maybe more interesting and even more inexpensive, but handling the UHF maybe difficult with selfmade PCBs.

Easy to interface this to the PSP, one of you software guys needs to make it run.
