PC IDE -> Format Linux HDD

Is it possible for someone to take an installed copy of there fully modded HDD make some kind of ISO then others can simply connect there HDD to there PC and format it with the linux format...

That would be a great project.

It would also be an illegal copyright violation since the ISO would contain copyrighted software. I have no idea why one would want to suggest such things around here, as they are strongly frowned upon.

there is a modified fdisk source available for pc that will format your linux paritions if that's what your looking for. I didn't quite catch your question either.
