Newb question - Is there a util for this?

Im wondering if anyone knows its possible (or of a utility) to extract media form a ps2 disc? I recall a utility that would allow you extract audio files from a psx disk that people used to listen to un-used audio tracks on castlevania symphony of the night a few years back.

If anyone wondering Im trying to extract texture/model data form .hack infection for use in PC programming project. Anyway TIA.

Thanks for the links :) I was a little worried it might be the case that the data was in a propritery format. Eh well just thought Id ask since I remebered that other util I thought there might be some hardware supported formats like gba tiles. Well looks like Im going to have to try and re create what I need from the screen shots :roll:
