PS2 Version 7 RXD VIA
PS2 Version 7 RXD VIA
Can anyone that has successfully installed the cable on there v7 ps2 and the RXD data part works, please PM me and i have a photo i got from DMS3 install diagram. It shows the area of where the possible correct vias are, which i have circled n blue. All you would need to do is point out the correct RXD via. Please help. I dont have a fully functional v4 ps2, so i installed the wires on a v7. Except for the RXD of course, which is where i need help. Thanks
Instead of PMing keep it on the boards to help the others as well. If you provide me with a good enough photo of the area I should be able to point out the RXD via.

Pictures of V7 connections
I installed the serial cable to my ps2 V7 a couple of days ago and tested it to check for the usuaml boot-up messages and it worked fine though i have to get a cable for it now because my port is attached to the ps2 case now. I took some poor pictures and did my best with them as well as included a modchip installation picture which i edited to show the connection points these pictures can be found/downloaded/and linked to at teh following addresses

I hope these help someone install the EE_sio port on their ps2 V7 board, so please enjoy.
Also If anyone believes these to be wrong please let me know as I don't have the money to get a straight through Serial cable at the time.
Thank You for your time and patience,
