It will ALSO work on ps2link, even if ps2link didn't exist when it was released.

Have you EVER tried ps2link ? This is where you configure everything about IP. This is like Internet Explorer: you don't have to say to IE your IP address: windows takes care of it. Sames goes with any software that run inside ps2link.

Yes , IE don't need me to tell the local IP, but it need to know remote ip or url.
And the nPort(PC SIDE) I download didn't have a place where I can type the PS2 ip address.
I can run the nPort.elf using PS2LINK,but I can't transfer file without USBCABLE
I only have PS2 AND PC connected by twisted-pair not usb cable

Wait, wait...
He said "the nPort, (PC side)" ?! What PC-sided nPort? There's none...

He is probably talking about xPort, which is SharkPort from InterAct which comes with an USB cable
Quick instructions on nPort/PS2Link
- download nPort (not xPort/Sharkport..etc)
- unzip nPort, should get nPort.elf and a saves directory
- download PS2Link
- read the README to see how to enter your PS2's IP address into IPCONFIG.DAT
- run PS2Link using whatever method
- download InLink
- install InLink on your PC using *.msi file
- run InLink on your PC, give it your PS2's IP address, then it should connect.
- If your InLink will not connect to your PS2, then your network is not working, or you gave PS2Link/InLink wrong IP address information
- If InLink working, click on RUN button on top, and locate your nPort.elf, nPort should appear on your PS2 screen
- Now when you copy files from PS2 to PC on the PS2 using joystick, InLink will copy the *.npo file onto your PC

When I unzip the nPort ,I got save directory and there is a npo-x.exe in it .Is it the PC side?
I think there must be a client and a server so it can transfer files.

npo-x.exe is a program use to extract/insert files from/to the .npo files. You can use Save Buidler instead.Chocoboboy wrote:When I unzip the nPort ,I got save directory and there is a npo-x.exe in it .Is it the PC side?

The client program is actually PS2Link.
nPort is fine using PS2Link 1.22 (from the Loaders link on this site)/InLink 1.3.7.
