Swapmagic/naplink

Post by Snyper »

Is it really as simple as burning the files (no ISO patching, no dummy files, etc)and booting with swapmagic knifing the PS2 and go? I have tried that many different ways and cant get the thing to boot....is my media *THAT* bad? I mean, I didnt pay a lot for it, but I got it on sale, 90 for $10 not too bad for a retail store purchase :) The discs are Memorex 48x, 700MB. They dont seem to have any other id marks on them...
I'm probably going to make a Giant run (grocery store for those who dont know) and see if they might have some Verbatims there, or really anything I think might be better...but I really think I am just missing something really simple and/or obvious
Thanks

Incidentally, I once had a pile of 48x Memorex discs that absolutely refused to work on my PS2.

Interesting, Giant only had some gold bottom fuji discs so I didnt bother (Fortunatly, someone else had been hunting as well, popped open a pack, to check a disc, all 10 were still there...) Unfortunatly with it being 4:30am here, my roommates are asleep so I cant bum a CDR or 2 off them, and its the same with all my friends around here....why cant everyone just be night people? Oh well, I hope for better luck tomorrow, in the mean time, I guess I'll just have to hope the excess amounts of caffiene I have consumed will wear off and allow me to sleep early
