i was searching threw the ps2 disk of AR MAX EVO on my pc and saw a directory called COD all the files in it look to be IRX files, there's even one for umcdr .. my question is why are they .COD ? is .IRX an ps2dev chosen file name, or is AR code doing something funny with the cod files.. i loaded a few up in ps2dis, and they definatly are compiled mips code... any ideas?

they are irx, you can load them from ps2link. irx is a standard naming also by sony, armax is doing strange naming.
