Still in development, but this version will allow you to do that.
You'll need to create a PS2 bootable CD which runs the PS2MENU.ELF
Here is a link to the current binary:

Playstation executables are files with the exertention .ELF (a pc .EXE for example)
You need a way to get the PS2MENU.ELF running @the ps2, i don't know if it possible to make a sort of boot-disk but the only way i know is with the ethernet adapter..

Well, I've tried to load PS2MENU 2.26 with Pukklink & Inlink 1.0, but after the load, the elf stop on this line : "Loading ps2netfs.irx 17793 bytes".
Do you know a way to transfert the menu2.elf to memcard to start it by this way ?
I think about burning an install cd of ps2menu, or get it to work (i.e transfert it) on memorycard with nport, but i can't see how to transform ps2menu.elf in npo format.
Any help ?

Well, after all, i reinstalled my linux kit this night and applied MrBrown's MCPatch to have full acces to memory card.
Then and because i have a ripper 2 modded PS2, i made a folder "\BOOT\PS2MENU/" and rename "PS2MENU.ELF" to "\BOOT\PS2MENU\PS2MENU.ELF" and put it in the memory card.
The boot loader for the ripper2 was already in place, so i tested it quickly.
And then, i see the wonderful work on PS2MENU.
Now, i have to look to this "host:" to be able to copy softs from pc to mc (or why not to HDD if i decide to format it to a fstype understood by PS2MENU !).
Ho, i forgot: Thank's a lot MrBrown.......
I tried to run Inlink, but i must be on the wrong way....
So, Vers l'infini et même au-delà.......
