What, and abandon all your other unfinished projects? :PDrakonite wrote: Of course, creating a vcd player would be relatively easy compared to a general purpose media player. If anyone wants to donate a pre-modded PS2 to me, I'll get right on it ;)
I wouldn't "abandon," I would "temporarily postpone."mrbrown wrote:What, and abandon all your other unfinished projects? :PDrakonite wrote: Of course, creating a vcd player would be relatively easy compared to a general purpose media player. yup, I know a lot about VCD's and how to play them in different systems.. actually the file is called "MPEGAV.dat" it can be played on Windows Media Player..Drakonite wrote:I read not too long ago that they aren't going to work on PS2Reality anymore.. which means if it doesn't do it now, its not going to do it.
And I have a feeling it doesn't recognize VCDs, although if it doesn't check file extensions you could find the data file on the VCD disc and play it. I can't remember the name of the file off the top of my head, but stick the vcd in your computer and look for a really big file :)

yep! I know for sure it is easy but I myself dont know anything about prgramming (I only know of Visual Basic, thats all! :( ) If only I know how to program (C programming) in the first place I think I will be here in the network with bunch of projects! :roll:Drakonite wrote: Of course, creating a vcd player would be relatively easy compared to a general purpose media player. Be careful, though... SPAIN IS DIFFERENT. Or so I heard.
Sorry but you don't need a modded ps2 to support VCD, you could always add support to read vcd files from network it's veeeeeery easy and there is already commercial product like qcast with this support.Drakonite wrote:
After all... if I'm getting a pre-modded ps2 out of it, making a VCD player is paid work, and paid work comes first :)
