CDRWIN Problem

Post by Kelly »

I've been following the tutorials closely over at http://www.hangar-eleven.de/en/index.html closely and everything has worked for me so far. Now I've got a problem burning the naplink-ps2-v1.0.1.a.iso to a CD using CDRWIN. Here's the basic procedure I've been following:

Open up CDRWIN.
Click file and backup tools.
Select 'Record an ISO9660 / UDF image file'.
My SAMSUNG CD-R/RW SW-248F R601 CD writer is already selected.
At the bottom I select the image file, naplink-ps2-v1.0.1.a.iso.
I click the 'START' button and wait a couple of seconds.
A message comes up that says, 'Disc is not writable and/or not supported.'

I've tried two different brands of CD-ROMS, DURABRAND and Memorex; neither of which have worked. Any suggestions? I'm trying to get this set-up using the 'PS2 Independance' exploit as I've heard it is the best with an un-modded system.

Try to use other burning program. For example CDBurnerXP pro (freeware) or Nero Burning Rom (trial version). Or check wheter the iso you downloaded is correct via Daemon tools or other virtual CD rom program.
