I have read the Tutorials, and know that before I start to develop on my PS2 I need to run a loader on my PS2,so I download the PS2LINK,but I don’t know how to use it.
Do I burn it on CD or else?
Sorry about my English, I come from China.

If you have a modchip, you can burn it to cd and boot it normally.

If you don't have a modchip, it gets complicated. You'll need to get a program onto your memorycard called PS2 Independance. It is an exploit that lets you run something small (like ps2link) on an unmodded system. The problem is you either need a modded system to get it into the memorycard in the first place, or buy something like an xport to do it for you.

Thanks for answering my question. But I still have some problem.
I decompressing the zip file,there are 7 files,but there isn't a cd image(like iso,cue bin or something else)
Do I simply burn the 7 files to CD?

PS. My PS2 already has a modchip.

I burn the files to CD,but my PS2 can't boot with it.(red screen)
As I think there must need a system.cnf ,so I create a system.cnf and a install.cnf by myself and burn it again.
It can boot but after the PLAYSTATION2 logo, the screen back to the mem card select screen(browser screen)

I don't know what's wrong.

try this one, there is a nice little iso inside that zip.

and for safety burn in mode 2 and use a low speed ( 2x )

Thanks a lot
After several try, finally I successed boot with it.
But there is another question, when I run INLINK on my computer, after some ipconfig, it give me a error message probably means:
runtime error '53'
file not find : incapture.dll

then the program crash.
where can I find the "incapture.dll"?

if you use inlink v1.37 make sure you have 1.33 installed, apparently 1.37 is just the exe not the rest.
