Dear All
:?:
Does anyone know of the status of the following project below, or if it has been abandoned. Sun and Sony were making plans for Java for the Playstation 2. The URLS below explain all and they even have a screenshot of the intended product.

I would prefer to not have to go the C\C++\Assembler route for developing on the PS/2.
If someone can help with this as it would be most appreciated, if no one know what about a good email contact at sony (Technical)

Hello,
A little jvm is implemented in some official internet browsers product for ps2 but there is not a public port of jdk. In ps2linux some people got to run and compile kaffe instead of official jdk but it is not fully supported.
Regards

I contemplated porting acunia's wonka JVM to Ps2. It doesn't really difficult, but decided in the end I had other things to do. If you want a JVM badly enough to port one. Look at Wonka..
