Hi there, i relise you must get alot of people asking how or where they can ovtain a PS2 BIOS, and im sorry for bringing it up again, but i feel i have nowhere else to turn, i used to own a PS2 but i sold it after needing the cash to repair my PC. There wern't any games on the market that apealed to me anymore so i didn't want to buy one again. But then my friend got DBZ - Budaki 2, this inspired me to make it run on my PC, i have an emulator, i have ripped the game to an ISO but it doesnt work. Am i correct in assuming it is a PS2 BIOS that i need? Please help

Emulators are designed for developers... not to play commercial games.

Umm.... try www.google.com

And there are reasons why we don't tell you where to find it. It IS copyrighted, you know.

and to add to what other people said: "wrong anything..."

Excuses, excuses... If you don't stop with the bugs I'll have to send even more polar bears after you!

If you can take the Ps2 of your friend for 1 day or 2 you can start by using this :

Bios dump util
This is a small prog for saving the ps2 bios to a file.

Download -> http://ps2dev.org/files/dumpbios.zip

But this will not be your bios, so if you don't have permission of your friend... buy a PS2, now the developers know the PS2 and good games are here and will be better with the time.

I think it s time in this topic to say first : Read the Rules ;-)

has anyone heard anything about development of an opensource compatible bios for the ps2?
