help with USB

ok firstly hi all i hope i can learn n share all things great in the ps2 hombrew scene.(im new)

sorry to make my first post a question but thats how i found this site :D

i have ps2 i think version 1.10
i also have a 521mb USB pendrive/flashdisk/...

i have owned a PSP and had no trouble with using hombrew on that,so im not a complete tard so i dont ned real basic instrucitons jsut some guidence. i would like to be able to use emulators and stuff particularly a sega megadrive/genises one with my USB pen drive can i do this without having a USB HDD? if so what do i need and any links? or advice

please dont flame me im just seeking advice/guidnece i dont want to be spoon fed. in time im sure i can return useful information etc..as i did with the psp homebrew scene.

As far as looking for an emulator for the Sega Genesis/Megadrive here is a link: http://www.gamebase.ca/pgen/

They have all the documentaion you need to run it properly in the downloads section.

thanks bookmarked it just need to find out how to use my USB mem storage device to boot my ps2 and to extract or what ever i have to do to make my ps2 abel to use this. any good links to tutorials would be helpful im still googling 2 days on now no luck :(
