PSP Error code FFFFFED3?

Post by TRF-Yu-Ki »

I tried looking for an error-code thread; didn't really see one.

Game could not be started.(FFFFFED3)

I got this on a 1.50 PSP firmware.... got the PSP splash screen fade-out too.

I got this by taking the HelloWorld EBOOT.PBP file:

* Replace the PARAM.SFO of HelloWorld EBOOT.PBP, with the PARAM.SFO of the USA 1.51 update.

* Made my own 144x80 ICON0.PNG(but I don't think this has anything to do with it)

* Added the DATA.PSAR from the USA 1.51 update

* Replaced the first 160 bytes of the HelloWorld DATA.PSP, with the first 160 bytes of the DATA.PSP that's inside of the USA 1.51 Firmware upgrade EBOOT.PBP

Not sure this'll help anyone, but I noticed that people were kinda collecting error codes... and I don't see this one on anyone's list.

Okay, back to my PSP.... keep it real.

[EDIT]:
You must make folder /PSP/GAME/UPDATE and put this EBOOT.PBP there.
If the folder is not called "UPDATE", you won't get this error code.

I think error code 0xfffffed3 is related to decryption.
Could be something like 'key type number not found' I guess.
