bassed on the firmware that was made avalible for download via the mem card switch sploit, it seems to me that all of the keys in flash0/dump/cert all have experation dates. i was just wondering if sombody set the date on there psp to eather some time after the last one expires (somwhare around 2030 i think) or before they where all made (some time around 2003), if it might be possible to cause the key to default to null since the internal stored key would be expired?
totaly random i know but since i dont have a psp to test this i thought i would just float the idea :P
horribly random exploit idea
Re: horribly random exploit idea
Please know that , the certificate inside flash0 is not the key for decrypt the PSP file. (Certificate and Key is two different things)
If you want to know more about certificate and encrypt/decrypt , please search the web.
