it's late... and I have a few questions on my foggy mind....
1) Using PSPersonalize I noticed that it looks like the PSP reloads the background (and probably the modules) from the flash after running the homebrew on ver.1.5. (and from the instructions that come with it looks like ver.1.0 the modules are not reloaded).
- has anyone attempted to assign a device (say fatms2 or ms3) to some directory of the memory card. Did the PSP find a second (new) device after you exited the homebrew? (it looks like there's more chance for this happening in ver1.0)
2) If the flash has partitions, does that mean there's access to the 8mb of protected modules? (dumping all separte partitions lflash0:0,0 / lflash0:0,1 /etc. of the flash) If not what is in those partitions?
3) can there be memory stick partitions? how do you create/assign them?
4) after you exit the "game" (homebrew) are there any settings/modules left, or the only changes you can make to the OS will require flash files override?
5) if you have a late-binding of a module (load a .prx from the homebrew) and this one is "replacing" one of the flash's prx, after exiting the game, will the new loaded module reside or be trashed? (is there a difference how v1.0 and 1.5 handle this)
6) any ideas how to make a program that works in the "background" of the menu? Or just re-write the "menu" and launch it as a homebrew on top of the current one?
do you know where I can find any of the information above?
ps. just in case you are wondering where am I going with those questions...: general purpose mounted remote storage via the WiFi
