OBJECTIVE OF THE GAME
---------------------------
simple: just make the other player crash into your "wall of death" before he does it to you
watch out the side walls and you are not immune to your own walls either.

(note: the game still does not keep track of score , players will have to do this in their heads)

player 1 controls "blue racer" with D pad
player 2 controls "red racer" with buttons (triangle, square, circle, cross)

this is only a test build please let me know if any bugs are found.

I wonder if a 3D version of this game would be any fun? It would be even easier to avoid the lines during the beginning, but as the space became crowded, it would become progressively harder to navigate between the lines. You would need to develope a good sense of depth in the game if it used a third-person view, although a first-person view could be interesting as well. You could potentially have powerups or something that would increase the width of your line, which could add to the simple gameplay. Or maybe another powerup that turns your line into a series of spaces and lines (- - - - - instead of _______). What about curved lines as a powerup or option? Just throwing some ideas around.

If you could provide another mirror, that would be great. Having trouble getting that file from megaupload here in Hong Kong.

I'm sorry I should've elaborated more than I did. When I said a 3D version of tron, I didn't mean 3D as in Armagetron, although that would be coold too. I meant being able to travel not only on the X and Y axis, but also on the Z axis as well. The only thing is, it'd be too easy to dodge the lines, because you'd have a whole new dimension of movement available to you. So you'd probably have to widen the line made so that it would be easier to hit and space would fill up quicker.

Here is a little preview on the next version that is comming out in a day or two

version 0.4 planned changes/addons
-the ability to choose up to 5 colors!
- 1 soundtrack
- new art by pochi
check out his art here:
http://pochistyle.pspwire.net/skin.html
- and hopefuly a new playmechanic called "Wall Nuke" each player gets 1 per round (thats right ROUNDS!) and what these do is they "reset" the lines, you use it when you realy need it like when you are about to crash into a wall.

60 percent of the code is already done.

any chance you will be attempting some sort of AI sometime soon? Love it, but I don't really dig the 2 player on 1 psp thing :) Keep up the good work.

yes be expecting 1 player mode to be in v. 0.5 or 0.6
first i gotta fined a way to make the game run smoother because if i ad AI to it as it is right now, then its gonna be sluggish as hell.
