Anyone here working on a side scrolling engine?

I'm looking for a 2d engine to make a game for PSP. I'm making a game using the BOR engine but the port they made of it doesn't work that great in the PSP, besides, It doesn't use full screen. If somebody is developing an engine like that I will be more than glad to help testing it and see if the game can be ported.
