Donkey64

Post by _MakeFile_ »

I just wanted to tell all of you guys that there is someone soon to release a N64 emulator for the psp. His name is PSDonkey64 and you can read about it and download the video of him playing MarioKart64 on his psp at this link.

http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=19927

I will finally be able to play Mario64 and MarioKart64 soon on my psp!
Thanks PSDonkey64! Keep up the good work

I call fake till i see it in person. For an emu thats been in development longer then mine, it seems to oddly mock both me & my emu's name (this is PSmonkey btw).

My emu on the other hand is not fake nor does it really run anything but pd roms atm (i just started rsp/rdp and if i am lucky mkt might be playable by the 9th when i plan to release).

I don't think it is fake. And I think he choose the nic name PSDonkey64 because I think he admires you PSMonkey and all the hard work you have done with your N64 emulator and with iris. Give him a chance. His video looks real good and he showes his video all the way from the beginning when he clicks on his memory card to start his hombrew Donkey64. I just don't see how that video could be fake in any way. We all love you PSMonkey and I hope you two can work together to make the most awesome N64 emulator ever. BTW, that web site seems to be down where he posted his video and that is why I don't think he has had a chance to respond to your question PSMonkey

I dout he admires me that much. Also what is there to admire, 1st he has suposetly started his version before I did nincest port, 2nd he has more industry experience then me & last, what person names them self & project directly after me? I called it monkey 64 because the letter M before N. It's real name is M64. I just fill out M to mean Monkey much like the N means Nintendo.

As for faking thats not overly difficult. It's hard to proove that his video was not even just a vid player without a bg interface.

Either way I still say fake till I see a build or source. I dont dout that a solid n64 emu will eventualy come out that can do some games at 30fps but I have high douts about it being from him.

This has nothing to do with PSP Software Development. These forums are for people developing software. It is not here for speculation on if a game/port/whatever is being made. Locked.
