Need art for your app?

Post by Hale »

I’m a would-be artist looking to get a foot in the door with some kind of PSP programming. I love the PSP homebrew community and keep up to date with it religiously, but want to do more than just sit back and watch. I know C and C++, but unfortunately have little experience coding anything other than console apps.

I am however an experienced artist and amateur animator, fully capable of creating sprite and flash animations, stills, UI elements and pretty much anything basic for any 2d game, slowly learning 3ds max, but haven’t completed any original projects.

So my proposal is this. In exchange for artistic services, I’d like a little help or advice creating some apps in C or C++

Here are some still samples:

I'd be keen to see if you're interested in the style of game i'm working on.
I need a reasonable bit of concept art to give to 3d guys. I have design but i need to collate it into a well defined style.

My game looks like this:

But hopefully not for too much longer. ;)

Virtually no experience with 3d, sorry, but I'm learning (and willing to follow instructions in order to learn). Concept art I'm VERY proficient at. Definately contact me if you need any of that.

The style of that game looks really easy to adhere to, I'm intrigued. And definately interested in working on a project like that.

more old crap

I dont need 3D. But I need a very experienced concept artist.
I have a set of references and concepts, these all need to be collated into a well defined style (not too unlike what you see in the screenshots, except by an artist rather than a programmer) and presented as reference art that modellers can work from.
I added you to my MSN, hopefully I'll talk to you some time soon.
