PSP Stackless Python 2.5.1 released....

Post by carlosedp »

Hi guys,

I justed posted on my dev blog about the release of Stackless Python fod PSP 2.5.1.

This is the latest release and have almost all functionality the full Python release have.

Check on http://themindcaster.blogspot.com/2007/ ... r-psp.html for more info.

Please, post feedbacks and problems you find on blog comments for now. In the next days I will be probably adding the project in a Google repository with issue tracking or merge it in fraca7´s PSP Python.

Best regards,

Carlos

The first "problem" I see is that I cannot find the sources, and Python is released under GPL.

Until now, I have been working in my own machine because I cannot access SVN from here so my repository is a local SVN.

Probably I will set up a project in google code to keep the SVN and the issues for the project.

Maybe tomorrow (since its a holiday in Brazil) I can set it up.

While I understand you're working on it, from a legal point of view you can't delay on that. All you need to do is tar up the source tree and post it alongside, you don't need a publically accessible SVN to comply with the GPL. Of course a public SVN at some point would definitely be nice for getting other developers to help out with it :)
