compression algorithms in psp

Post by serige »

does anyone know what kind of compression algorithms (or known compression algorithms) are using in the psp system?
are there any source code for that?
looks like the assembly code i am reading resembles some kind of compression scheme, but i am not quite sure...
thanks for any helps!

Go right to the bottom, there is Gzip and Deflate there.

That's a start :) There are various image, audio, video codecs too.

That one's dead.
Anyone else know where to find a PSP gzip?
If not actually, then potentially.

Lol, I didn't know it was a freebie.
