ms indicator flashing

Sometimes I insert my ms in my PSP and the ms indicator on my psp just keeps on flashing and the psp didn't detect my ms, why is that?

but I bought it in walmart, i think i inserted it too fast.

be careful with the memory stick,

It might bend the pins in the console.
