PSP Quake 3 server

Post by emvivre »

Hello, I ported Quake 3 server on a PSP, well, it works but if many people join it, it may slow down.

Actually 4 maps don't works : q3dm11, q3dm12, q3ctf2 and q3ctf3.

My PSP is running a 1.5 Firmware and I haven't try to run the server on others firmwares, please post if someone tries.

Sources and binaries are available here http://team-nshock.com/psp/index.html

Merry Christmas !!!

The server actually runs on the PSP, that's very cool.
If not actually, then potentially.

The server is the easy part (comparatively speaking). The client is the real challenge. :)

Post by rcx_6000 »

i got the server running and quake 3 sees it and i can rcon it, but for some reason i cant join it, it just sits at the loading screen on awaiting connection. now even if i can rcon it, would going through 1 or more routers cause a problem since i at work on one of the gaming rigs in the game room. any help would be awesome.
