PSP going idle event

Post by MadButch »

Is there an event we can catch for when the PSP goes idle?

I had it lying on for a bit while checking something out, and when I looked at it, the screen was black. Is there a way to make the screen go darker instead, or was this just something weird I witnessed?

I'll test it out some more tomorow to make sure...

There are actually two idle states. One makes the screen have the lowest brightness setting, and the other turns on the screen completely. You can hold the display button used to change contrast down for a second or two and it will turn off the display. You can use this to do some experimenting to see if anything is thrown without having to wait three minutes or whatever. :)

I use the button whenever I'm playing MP3s to save battery life.
