Much thanks to PMP now we could finally play videos on PSP at 480x272 full resolution but still this is far from ultilizing PSP's full capability at the media end.
PSPAdvance got a sour reputation but upon taking a 2nd look the idea itself seems rather good. I wonder anyone had tried ORB here? It's a piece of amazing freeware that streams all you media files, Xvid, Dvix, RM, MOV and of course mp3, pics to a remote PC or mobile device - as long as the client end has a media player that supports its streaming protocol.
Various suggestions had been made at ORB forum inquiring the possibility of using PSP as a client device with not much progress since ORB's current focus is to server end software.
In throey PSP has wireless access, and SONY's own locationfree player is exactly something that plays back steaming content. But it's locked to SONY's own $300 locationfree base station and doesn't support the video libiary you already had.
Thinking this would be something worth to look into. insights & thoughts appreciated.
