PSP Serial, Packet Radio?

Post by Charles »

If the PSP can be fed a carrier from "packet radio" and demodulate(?) it, I would imagine that the HAM radio crowd would really find that useful.

APRS for GPS tracking, Trunk-tracking, and even software-based radio could be possible.

Thoughts?

The last paragraph lists some VERY interesting potential applications.

Any HAM radio people here?

Looks really cool, but some hardware seem to be required... Would you use the audiojack or serial input? What sampling can the audio in provide?
Also do you think the PSP has enough processing power for all modulation convertions...

Thanks for the link I found it very informative.

Good luck with porting this to the PSP...
