the document is no longer available ...
maybe maintenance going on or no more luck
maybe somebody can be kind and upload
a copy of both (1.0 and 1.10) versions of the manual

Wow, so you can just change the hard drive without voiding the warranty at all. That is a huge step up from Xbox 360 where you need to buy the hard drive sold by Microsoft. I can't wait to see Linux running on PS3.

It's too bad those are the Japanese manuals. Hopefully, the English manuals will be put up shortly.
