Wireless PS2?

Post by BangTajra132 »

Does anyone know where I can find a wireless adapter for the PS2 so I don't have to have a cord to connect to the internet. Could you lead me to a website containing it. Thanks.

Any wireless bridge that hooks to the ethernet port will work. you still require a cable, but it can be a short one.

Just go to any major wifi brand, linksys for example.

Hmmmm, I dunno. My computer is downstairs and my PS2 is upstairs. Is there any way where I can get online features on my PS2 wirelessly. MY dad won't let me have cords all over the place. Without a cord at least. Like is there a thing I can just stick into the back of my PS2 and it reads my internet connection? Thanks.

Please, do a little searching on an answer provided before questioning it. He answered your question. A simple google search on 'wireless bridge' gave me http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=241 link.

If you are unsure of how this works, here is a pretty picture: Image

The wiring diagram you have provided doesn't provide internet access to
a PS2.

I don't even think it is to scale... the router is twice the size of an xbox!

sorry agoln, didn't mean to ask a somewhat "dumb" question. No reason to get hostile dude. And for the record.....the picture didn't help.

Well, if you aren't in a position to understand the help we gave you, then you are not in a position to solve this problem by yourself.

Perhaps you should ask your father, or someone who might know more about this stuff, to help out ?
