"PSP 1.5 No Swap & Emulation Show", SUNDAY!

Post by GameCop »

Were going to bring you a radio show this Sunday, July 10th, 2005. It couldn't have been done by the guys from GuiltyParties! We have been working non-stop on it and getting guests, testing microphones, etc. This may even be the last radio show I'll ever do. Even typing this message was difficult for me. We have got a great list of guests for the radio show that will shock you, entertain you, and tell you the inside scoop of the emulation scene, sony psp, nintendo ds, pc gaming and the arcade scene. It'll be very interesting and hopefully you'll join us this sunday for a spectacular online radio show!

Remember the mame trademarking by David R. Foley? Well, he'll be on the show! Remember Icarus, that dreamcast emulator that was never released? We'll bring you the co-author of the emulator. Do you own a Sony PSP and now have emulators on it? Ever remember a popular dreamcast emulation site called DCEmulation? The owner of the site will be there and much much more!

ps2nfo HAHAHA! You're going to end up with many angry listeners if you interview cjpc. PS2nfo is a money site; they know nothing about real psp emus. All of their tools, emus are stolen from other websites and authors. everyone hates them, should've done your homework before requesting a text interview with ps2nfo.

Your the 100th person who told me that and I'll give the same response..
They're not affiliated with us (1Emulation) in anyway and I realize how you may may have differing opinions about them. (I've read them all) However, they are a guest on the show, but like I said, were going to ask them several questions in what's happening with TeamXecuter, problems mentioned in the past, and why other PSP sites have problems with them. We will also highlight the good points of their site since were not going to have a flamewar on the show either. What makes a good show is a difference in opinion which = entertainment. :p

PS: And If you had such differing opinions about them, you should have PM'dme in becoming a guest on the show. (Remember, we do take fans of any of the scenes. :D)

If only you would have asked. I would have been more than happy to setup an interview with the man who started it all. M.E., former owner of psphacker. oh well.

Woooo. That was fun. Things got a little bit heated there for awhile. Overall, I think it was a good show though.

The show was a wonderful success! We had rave reviews and we hope everyone downloads and listens to the radio show. If you have any suggestions or want a possible future radio show once again, leave us an email: 1emulation@gmail.com! We also apologize for the people who were checking on the Radio Show website for the links. We forgot to paste the shoutcast URL's there, but we did post it on all forums and over IRC.

Recordings are available and can be found here as well as text interviews...
Team WAB text interview will be released soon. Keep checking back later on today!

That show was too painful to complete. Our only regret is that we weren't there to refute such outlandish claims such as Pawstick "starting the scene". It was nem who started it all with his homebrew Flash BIOS interface and the helloworld program. It was nem who broke into kernel mode (the first to publically do so at least) and nem who made it possible for PSP-DEV to start randomly swapping memory sticks trying to get things to run on 1.5.

You guys could've done a much better job doing your homework. And perhaps next time you could prep your guests a bit better? But I guess if all you're going for is the controversy and childish in-fighting, then you've won them over.
